Frequently asked questions
Who would get the most benefit from the Obasan Grand Dunlop Latex Mattress?
This mattress suits sleepers who want deep pressure relief and customizable firmness with a medium or firm lower layer, plus a plush surface layer for comfort. It’s a good fit for adults who value organic materials and zoned support, and may not be ideal for those who prefer a very soft bed.
What makes this latex mattress stand out from other latex beds?
It uses 14 inches of pressure-relieving Dunlop latex with multi-zoned comfort layers, plus a 3.5-inch topper and a soft 2-inch surface layer for contour and pressure relief, all in organic cotton and wool. This combination aims to provide targeted alignment and long-lasting comfort.
How should I set this up to get the best support and comfort?
Place the mattress on a compatible foundation for stable support. The central 4-inch sections align with head, shoulders, and feet, with the topper and soft surface layer to maximize comfort and minimize surface pressure points.
What sizes or dimensions are available, and how do I choose the right fit?
The mattress is designed with a 14-inch profile plus topper and specific zoned sections; choose a size based on your bed frame and room space. If you sleep with a partner who has different firmness preferences, the dual-layer design helps balance support.
Is this mattress suitable as a gift for someone with specific sleep needs?
Yes, its customizable lower-layer firmness (medium or firm) and pressure-relieving topper make it suitable for adults with varying sleep positions and body types, especially those who value organic materials.
